Plasmait Gmbh of Austria has developed and installed technologically advanced equipment to anneal and clean wires using the power of plasma. The wire is treated within vacuum chambers with inert gas which are electrically charged to blast the wire in a quick and efficient manner.

Such systems replace conventional strand annealing furnaces and are able to be installed In-line with production equipment, thus increasing production efficiency and removing additional wire treatment stations in subsequent steps.
