Cordset Testing and Terminating Line

This processing line allows for the automatic testing of pre-molded cordsets, as well as the final termination of the second side of the cordset with the desired conductor striping and terminal crimping.

-  TESTING  - WIRE STRIPPING  -  TERMINAL APPLICATION  -

·         Operator inserts molded plug side of cordset into conveyor’s plug holder

·         Operator inserts un-stripped conductors conveyor’s cable holding jig

·         Line executes desired strip lengths on individual conductors

·         Terminals are crimped onto conductors

·         Continuity/Polarization Test is executed

·         Insulation resistance Control is performed

·         Skin Test  on molded plug is performed

·         Fully tested and terminated cordset is off-loaded automatically

·         Output of 850 tested & terminated cordsets/hr

This is the line that has had extreme success for over a decade, and is a great way to automate the testing, conductor stripping, and second end termination processes at a low investment cost.
