Cable Measuring Unit KSM

APPLICATION: To "off-line" measure cable cross-sections, tubes and profiles.

Replaces manual profile projectors and measuring micro-scopes and gives far better repeat accuracy (0,2 %). KSM measure also very fast, using imaging technology where the measuring time is only seconds. More than14 years experience and over 90 units delivered. Most of them are repeat orders.

Type KMS15/70F

Max dia cam1: 12 mm (0.47")

Max dia cam2: 70 mm (2.76")

Image field is adapted to customer needs. Diameter up to 130 mm has so far been delivered

KSM has a menu adapted for the Cable Industry. In this menu cable type, article number, order number and other needed parameters can be noted.

The most efficient method is to work with KSM Remote allowing working directly under customer database or one from ACM.

The image system performs quickly a great number of 2- dimensional measuring.

Max-/min and average as well as concentricity and ovality are presented. The area of the insulation is also measured very usable to minimize material costs.
