Pressed steel reels are used in numerous
applications from simple shipping applications to more robust requirements for
in-house processing applications.
Pressed steel profiles are used to create
a light weight reel, with extremely robust characteristics. The curled
edges on the outside of the flanges, as well as the ribs on the side
of the flanges cause the reel to absorb heavy loads. The reel will
remain true to its original geometry, through the various stiffening
points. Extra care is taken to ensure a 90o angle between
the drum and the flanges, while applying a continuous welding seam.
